Mark Davis Strikes Gold with Las Vegas Raiders MNF Debut

WOW. What an electric end to Week 1 of the NFL season last night between the Baltimore Ravens and Las Vegas Raiders. It was the inaugural game (with fans in attendance) at Allegiant Stadium for the Raiders and my god was it the absolute perfect way to kick off being in a new city. There's something about the energy that Sin City brings that is unique and thus the reason why sports are beginning to find homes there. The "Black Hole" was freaking rocking all night long and virtually every time you thought the game was over, something else happened! Look, if you missed the game just know you missed out and never EVER let it happen again.
The Ravens went up 3 with 37 seconds left and you would've thought that was that. Oh bummer, Derek Carr and Gruden once again lose a hard fought battle in the last seconds I guess that's just their identity... But Carr refused to lose and embrace that loser's identity. He put together a 5 play 38 yard drive in 35 seconds to give the Raiders a chance to tie the game with a 55 yard field goal of their own....
Well I'll be damned! Carlson nails it through the uprights and brings this game into OT and that's where the craziness unfolds for real. Good lord. The Raiders got the ball first and were cruising down the field. Carr drops back and heaves a pass to Edwards for 33 yards, he's down the sideline, DIVES........ TOUCHDOWN!! GAME OVER!! The Raiders flock to the field, crowd is going bananas, and it was the fairytale ending to the Raiders comeback victory in their new stadium........BUT WAIT..... Was his knee down? You're damn right it was. Scratch the celebration and put that grimace back on Jon Gruden's face.
After a false start on 2nd & Goal at the 1 and an incompletion this is what the Raiders did on 3rd down.......
You literally have to be kidding. I couldn't believe it. I gasped and said OH MY GOD out loud when this play happened. How can the Raiders possibly blow this after already celebrating the victory 5 minutes prior. Pure insanity. If you're a Raiders fan I have to know what you went through emotionally in this game. It had to be hell. But have no fear Raiders fans, on the ensuing Ravens drive Carl Nassib made the play of the game and strip sacked Lamar Jackson to get the ball back to the Raiders, at the Ravens 27 yard line.
On 2nd & 14, the Raiders lined up in shotgun and I think the Ravens went all out blitz which turned out to be a giant mistake because the Raiders were ready for exactly that....
Game. Data. Warrant. Oh you have to love football. Imagine betting on this game haha holy smokes. Is it Thursday/Sunday/or Monday yet????
