YES SIR!!!! Brodie is coming back home and teaming up with AD and Bron to go after banner #18. I love this trade for a variety of reasons. Yeah I understand that Westbrook can't shoot great, we have 3 superstars on the same team trying to figure out how to mesh, there's only 1 ball, etc. But I truly believe Russ can be that piece that puts it all together. The dude has the most triple-doubles in NBA history and that type of mindset is what we need out of our point guard. Get AD at the 4 and Bron on the wing and let Brodie do his thing. I really liked Dennis Schroder last year, but in terms of creating, Russ is on a way different level. In free agency we will need to pick up shooters without a doubt. That's been the Lakers weakness for the past couple of years but assuming we fill that hole with seasoned vets, the Lakers are a championship contender.

And what you're also forgetting is that I no longer have to deal with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope on my team. Look I appreciate everything he did for us defensively and during our 2020 championship run, I'm not even that guy to bash players, but he was extremely tough to root for. He was a spot shooter that was afraid to shoot the ball in certain situations. He owned so much real estate in his own head it was almost sad to watch. LeBron literally had to yell at him in the huddle during the Suns playoff series last year to shoot the damn ball.

He gone. Regarding the other pieces in the trade..... I always liked Kuzma but the more star power we got, the less his role was established on the team. And what I mean by that is he didn't want to be just a spot shooter. He wants to drive to the hole and feel like he's in an offense where he can create for himself. After the way last year ended, it's not surprising that the Lakers and Kuzma wanted to part ways. I hope he kills it as a Wizard and elevates his game the way Brandon Ingram has done for the Pelicans. Montrezl Harrell is one that stings. With the edition of Andre Drummond last year, I felt like Frank Vogel didn't know how to utilize a 3 man Center rotation and Trez got the short end of the stick on that. I love the way he plays physical and energetic basketball and it sucks that the Lakers didn't treat him right during his time with us. He is such an underrated piece that is going to put up serious numbers in Washington.

Bottom line: Laker haters say whatever you want but you can't tell me you wouldn't want a healthy LeBron, AD, and Westbrook, on your squad. Russ is still chasing that first championship and coming back to where it all started during his UCLA days. That's going to be the push that gets this team to where it needs to be. Environment wise, there's actually no better fit than Westbrook and Laker Nation. The energy in Staples Center this year is going to be unreal and I'm stoked we have a GM like Pelinka that has made championship moves like this since her got here.

And just in case you forgot: Westbrook is a monster...
