Time to Say Goodbye: Aaron Rodgers & The Green Bay Packers

Again, we are in this situation of wondering what the future is for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. This is very reminiscent of the beginning of the 2021 football season, where Aaron was toying with his future in the NFL. Through all of that crap, Aaron Rodgers flew back to Green Bay from Hawaii and chose to play another season. We saw Aaron start off slow, and work his way back to becoming a back-to-back NFL MVP. Which is an exceptional feat, but his personal accolades has not brought his team to winning a Super Bowl. Yes, Aaron has done exceptional things but he has not brought more championships to his team. That is my biggest issue with Aaron and the Packers continue to see him as the one that is going to bring their organization to another Super Bowl. No doubt, that Aaron has that ability but how many opportunities is he going to get from the same team?

2011 was the last time Aaron won a Super Bowl, and yes back-to-back MVP's are great but he needs to move on. Personally, the Packers and Aaron need to part ways and think about their futures without each other. Wherever Aaron is to go, he may succeed or we may see his success begin to dwindle away. Packers need to begin thinking about the future and where the team is going to go without Aaron as their quarterback. Why not use his success from last year to sell him high and begin to think about what he can get the team. I know that is a very business orientated statement for the Packers, but that is what needs to be done. Aaron can go anywhere he wants and any team is going to give him what he wants, but his low track record of Super Bowls does hinder him. All in all, Aaron and the Packers need to move on from each other.
